The Film

The Community Chorus of Westerly, a volunteer amateur ensemble, achieves world class musicianship under the direction of conductor George Kent, performing Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Mass in B Minor” in  a small Rhode Island town. As they approach the concert, tirelessly practicing and perfecting the piece, Kent and the chorus reveal the passion that has made singing the core of their lives. The chorus members come from widely differing backgrounds and lifestyles,  from ages of 8 to 98, all brought together by their love of music.
