The Film

A short commissioned by The Philadelphia Orchestra to honor Music Director Wolfgang Sawallisch. This portrait celebrates the conductor’s extraordinary relationship with the world-renowned Philadelphia ensemble. Filmed during Sawallisch’s final season, it focuses on the music of the 19th-century Romantic composer Robert Schumann.
