Ghosts of the Bayou
An impressionistic look at New Orleans and some of its supernatural legends. For millennia the thought of ghosts and eerie apparitions in "haunted" houses have stirred intrigue and terror in the human mind. In New Orleans, Louisiana, the romance and mystery of ghost have remained a vivid part of popular culture. This is due in part to legend and folklore; but ghost sightings today are a more common occurrence than most people would think. This film for National Geographic follows real-life "ghost-busters" as they investigate a reported haunting in an antebellum plantation.
