IDOLS OF THE GAME: LOVE AND MONEY

A two-hour documentary examining the influence of money on the careers of some of America’s greatest sports legends. The film weaves together four stories, each pairing two iconic firgures: Shoeless Joe Jackson and Jim Bouton; Knute Rockne and Lou Holtz; Roone Arledge and Mary Lou Retton; Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan (featuring rare footage of Jordan’s escape from the NBA to play minor league baseball).
